I had a fantastic stay at the 161 Lama Temple Courtyard Hotel. The location was perfect, close to the Lama Temple and other charming alleys. The room was cozy and clean with thoughtful decor. The staff spoke excellent English and were incredibly helpful in planning my activities. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Beijing.

I had a fantastic stay at 161 Lama Temple Courtyard! The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and made me feel like family. They even offered to act as a tour guide and translator for a trip to The Forbidden City. The room I stayed in, Temple of Heaven, was clean and beautifully presented, with a huge print of local sights on the wall. The hotel itself had a lot of character and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The location was great, close to metro stations and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and unique charm.

This hotel is in the center of things, nestled in a Hutong area down a narrow alley. It is a great location to explore nearby attractions such as the Lama Temple and Confucius Temple. The rooms are beautiful and clean, with traditional-style décor. The breakfast options include both western and Chinese dishes, ensuring a satisfying start to the day.

There is no elevator in the hotel, which can be inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always offering us water and showing us scenic areas on the map. the room was comfortable and clean, with a smart phone provided for easy navigation. the location was convenient, with a subway station nearby and plenty of eateries to choose from on Gui food street.

The room was cold despite having a heater, making it difficult to sleep. There was also construction noise during the day, although this was not the hotel's fault and was eventually resolved.

Additionally, the hotel is situated in a charming traditional area, adding to the overall experience.
